A: We first began serving our customers in April of 1999, and have been enjoying great success and growth ever since. We started out back in the beginning with 1 supplier and 40 items, we now offer well over 400 items from over 100 high quality makers and suppliers, some of whom we feel are simply the best in the business. Appearing on literally 100's of reenactor groups websites world wide as a recommended source of high quality goods, "Orchard Hill Sutlery" has become a name that you can trust. Q: What type of payment do you accept? A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. We also accept bank checks, personal checks, and money orders. All payments must be in US funds. Q: Do you accept PayPal? A: No, at this time we are not set up to accept PayPal. Q: How can I place an order? A: Orders may be safely placed via our website through our secure server, anytime 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. You may also order by mail, by fax, or by phone. A: All orders placed online through our website are encrypted using SSL, "Secure Socket Layer" technology. SSL is the industry standard and offers safe and secure online shopping. All customer information is kept private and secure offline as well, we will NEVER sell, share, or lease any customer information to outside sources or services. A: This varies greatly on the item(s) ordered, whether or not they are currently in-stock when you order, as well as the time of the year and season we are in, and our current workload when you order. Many items we sell are hand made to each individual order. Quality takes time. Most orders are shipped within 4 to 6 weeks. Some orders may require more time if they are custom hand made items or special orders. We ask that you please allow AT LEAST 30 DAYS before calling us or emailing us for the status of your order. We try very hard to stay ahead and supply you with high quality items and fast service, and we promise to get your order to you as soon as possible. Q: Do you offer expedited shipping? A: On items that are in stock and ready to ship, we can indeed offer express or overnight shipping at an additional cost to the customer, please contact us and inquire for details. Q: Can I return item(s) if I am not happy with them? A: Yes, we have a 10 day satisfaction guaranteed return policy in which items can be returned or exchanged. Items must be received back in their new and original unused condition. You must call for a return authorization prior to sending any item(s) back. Shipping charges are not refundable, return shipping is paid by the customer. Media such as books and music CD's are not refundable, they can however be exchanged for the same title if defective. If you receive an item in damaged condition, please contact us. Q: Do you offer used equipment and gear? A: No, we only sell new items. Q: Do you ship outside of the US? A: Yes we do, with the exception of firearms and edged weapons. Please note that additional shipping charges may apply to orders shipped outside the Continental US. Q: How old must I be to purchase firearms? A: First, we recommend that you check with your local and state laws regarding such. It is then our policy to require purchasers of black powder muskets and rifles to be 18 or older. We require purchasers of black powder pistols and revolvers to be 21 or older. We require purchasers of edged weapons to be 18 or older. Please note: Due to state law, we do not ship firearms to the state of New Jersey. We do not ship firearms outside of the United States.
