Federal contract issue style ground cloth. Made from painted natural cotton
duck, with correct size brass grommets, (we also make these with hand sewn
grommets for Confederate impressions). Due to a shortage of rubber "gum
blankets" during the war, the government contracted for painted gum
blankets to make up for the shortage. These make excellent "shebangs"
for campaigners.

shelter half, team up with a pard and button two halves together to make a whole
shelter. Features zinc buttons, hand sewn grommets,
manila hemp rope stake loops. Authentic
maker marks and inspector stamps. Comes with 6' length of manila hemp rope to
be used as a ridge pole between trigger guards. Use your muskets for poles.
